Museum Summer Camp

Spend your summer at the National Building Museum! Explore the world we design and build through hands-on activities, projects, and field trips.

Registration 

Early-bird registration for Family-Level Museum Members begins Tuesday, January 28, 2020 at 10 am EST.

General registration opens on Tuesday, February 11, 2020.

A $100 non–refundable deposit per child, per session is due upon registration.

About National Building Museum Summer Camp

Each summer camp program enrolls 16-18 campers, with two Museum Teachers per session. Summer Camp programs are one week long – sign up for one week or multiple!

All campers will…

Meet with built environment experts and may go on field trips in the Washington, D.C. area.

Get a behind-the-scenes look at the Museum’s collections.

Visit Museum exhibitions.

Draw inspiration from the built environment to imagine, design, and build their own creations.

Cost

$450/week
Museum Members (Family-Level and above) receive a $100 discount on their total camp enrollment.

Become a Family-Level Museum Member while registering for Camp: Family-level members can register early for Summer Camp at reduced rates and receive complimentary admission to select family programs, access to birthday parties, Museum Shop discounts, free admission to Museum exhibitions and more. Become a Member. 

Summer Camp Hours

Monday through Friday, 9 am–3 pm

Early Drop Off: 8:30–9 am (included in cost)

Extended Care: 3–5:30 pm (additional $100/week)
