THE GREAT HALL

Find awe-inspiring spaces in the nation’s capital: a soaring, expansive Great Hall featuring eight colossal Corinthian columns. On the exterior, a 1,200-foot-long terra cotta frieze wraps the building.

  • Available 7 days a week
  • Space for up to 2,000 guests
  • Three adjoining courts that can be used individually or together.
  • Capacity for large-scale staging’s (film, video, music, lighting)
  • Onsite prep kitchen with adjacent loading dock

Auditorium

This space is adjacent to the Main Hall. Window access to the 1st floor outdoors for power/audio/visual cable runs. Can also be considered in an overflow storage area for production or catering staging areas.

  • Space for 150 theatre-style or 100 at round tables
  • Located on the 1st floor
  • Equipped with full audiovisual capabilities
  • Podium, stage, and screen

Pension Commissioner’s Suite

Located on the second floor, this historic space serves well for catered, private events. Situated above the Great Hall, the Pension Commissioner’s Suite can accommodate up to 200 guests.

  • Two historically preserved rooms
  • Catering staging area
  • Space for 110 seated, 200 standing

The National Building Museum offers event spaces for everything from grand receptions and large-scale productions to intimate gatherings and corporate meetings. 3-phase power service and high-speed internet available upon request.
