A Salute to Related

Honor Award

The presentation of the 2007 National Building Museum Honor Award to Related.
The National Building Museum will recognize Related, an industry-leading fully-integrated real estate development firm, for the company’s positive and significant contribution to the built environment at an exclusive gala on June 14, 2007. Held in the Great Hall, the event was attended by industry leaders in architecture, development, construction, and real estate. Chairman and CEO of Related Companies Stephen M. Ross and Chairman of The Related Group Jorge M. Perez accepted the award. Founder and partner of Robert A.M. Stern Architects Robert A.M. Stern; New York City’s Deputy Mayor for Economic Development and Rebuilding Daniel L. Doctoroff; Time Warner Center architect David M. Childs, FAIA, of Skidmore, Owings & Merrill LLP; and Bernardo Fort-Brescia, architect and principal of Arquitectonica presented tributes at the ceremony.

The National Building Museum’s Honor Award was instituted in 1986 to recognize individuals and organizations that have made important contributions to our nation’s built environment. Annually, recipients are selected from a wide variety of backgrounds to call attention to the many factors that determine the form and quality of our built world.

Sponsorship of the Honor Award gala allows the National Building Museum to continue to teach and inspire hundreds of thousands of people annually about the world we build for ourselves.
