For Educators
The National Building Museum offers a variety of tools to assist educators in their classroom teaching. Educators are invited to join Museum staff throughout the year at Educator Workshops to learn ways to incorporate sustainable design, design education, architecture, etc. into classroom curricula. These hands-on workshops offer educators a variety of opportunities to learn by doing.
Curriculum Kits created by the Museum and field tested by numerous classroom teachers, provide all of the resources and materials needed to offer Museum programs in your own classroom across the country.
A variety of Educator Resource Packets containing numerous lesson plans are available for educators free of charge. Try one of the many lesson plans available to complement your pre-or-post school program visit to the Museum, or use to supplement your own classroom lessons.
