Architecture 101
School Program
Grades 2–9
Students explore the Museum's interactive exhibition, PLAY WORK BUILD, as part of a fun and fast-paced introduction to how architects use the design process. Students observe, draw, and use their math knowledge to learn skills crucial to being an architect: model-making, architectural drawing, and communication. This program meets content standards for language arts, visual arts, technological literacy, and math. This program does not come with an Educator Resource Packet.
Registration Details:
- Grades 2–9
- 2 hours (10 am–12 pm or 12:30–2:30 pm)
- Maximum class size 30 students
- Minimum of four chaperones required per program
- The Museum can schedule up to 2 classes (60 students) at a time.
- $100 per class
