National Award for Smart Growth Achievement

The Smart Growth speaker series, a free, noontime program, is presented in association with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the Smart Growth Network. The programs take place once every month with the exception of July and August. The goal of the series is to promote dialogue and research on sustainable development strategies that preserve community character and protect the environment.

Through a partnership between the U.S. EPA, the National Building Museum, and Public Radio International's Living on Earth, many of our Smart Growth Speakers can now be heard on your favorite local public radio station.
