When completed, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's National Center for Climate and Weather Prediction will be the U.S. focal point for generating ocean and atmospheric forecasts. Project architect Roger W. Schwabacher, AIA, LEED AP, senior associate with HOK Architects, will lead a tour of the 280,000 square-foot project, which features a green roof and two-foot deep sunshades on the south facades.
