Framing a Capital City Symposium

Framing a Capital City Symposium

April 11, 2007

9:00 am - 6:30 pm

Organized collaboratively by the U.S. Commission of Fine Arts (CFA), the National Capital Planning Commission (NCPC), and the National Building Museum, this symposium helped shape the National Capital Framework Plan, a joint NCPC-CFA initiative to guide federal planning for Washington, DC in the 21st century. Listen to how scholars, designers, policymakers, and citizens considered how the nation’s capital will evolve in its dual role as a showcase for the nation and a livable city.
