The program was amended to include a personal message from Mr. Alexander followed by an in-depth discussion of his work and its continuing impact on the field with close colleagues. David Schwarz, Vincent Scully Prize chair gave an introduction to the program and Randy Schmidt, vice president of the Center for Environmental Structure delivered Alexander's presentation.
