Scouts & Youth Groups
Join us for a Scout or Youth Group Day!
In 2008–2009 join the National Building Museum for three new activity days designed especially for Scouts and organized Youth Groups. Explore the world we build for ourselves and work on Try-It and Badge requirements! The National Building Museum's engaging activities teach Girl Scouts, Cub Scouts, and youth groups to recognize and solve design problems, test civil and aerodynamic engineering principles, weigh environmental issues, and "read" the buildings around them.
In an effort to more effectively serve scout and youth groups, the Museum will be shifting its programming format for the 2008-2009 year. We will no longer be offering two hour programs for individual groups, instead we will offer three full days of activities which multiple groups may attend. Some of our most popular past scout programs, like City by Design, Bridge Basics, and Fuller's Fantastic Geodesic Dome, will be adapted and incorporated into the scout and youth group days. We hope you can join us!
