A Sample Day at NBM Summer Camp
8:30: Early Drop-off begins. Campers enjoy games and Kapla block building in the Great Hall.
9:00: Worldly Builders Class begins. An introduction to New Mexico and Southwestern architecture. Campers make adobe blocks.
10:30: Snack and free build.
10:50: Campers begin to work on making a pueblo using recycled materials, clay, and paint.
12:00: Lunch
12:30: Games
1:00: Literature Unit. Campers read Wizard of OZ and build their own yellow brick road for the Great Hall based on figuring out how many bricks it would take to fill up the Great Hall.
2:00 Electives. Campers choose to either build a city of the future in Lego City Club or create mosaic monuments in Mosaic Makers.
3:00 Dismissal. Aftercare begins.
