Bryna Lipper serves as the Vice President for Marketing, Communications, and Government Affairs at the Museum. She directs the Museum’s public and press relations, online and social media, and branding and marketing strategy. Lipper is also responsible for government affairs, and liaises with local, state, federal, and international organizations.
Lipper studied architecture in Australia, where she became an urban advocate. Working in partnership with state and local government, she organized Vision: 20/20, a design competition exploring Sydney’s future, for which she was awarded a national leadership prize. She also helped found Global Studio, a non-profit organization that encourages poverty-reduction practice among design students and professionals. While in Australia, Lipper worked for the award-winning architecture and urban design firm, Architects Johannsen & Associates.
Before transitioning to a career advocating for the built environment, Lipper was vice president of a leading national marketing and promotions firm. There, she developed brand affinity campaigns for clients such as Microsoft, Pepsi-Cola, and Gap, Inc.
Lipper is an active volunteer for organizations that improve the urban environment and increase equity. She also serves on the board of advisors to a start-up technology-marketing firm.
The University of Sydney awarded her a Bachelor of Design in Architecture with distinction.
