Christine G. Green

Strategic Partnership Manager, NCSC

Christine G. Green is the strategic partnership manager for the National Complete Streets Coalition (NCSC). At NCSC she coordinates partner projects and federal policy as well as developing a tool and standard for implementation of complete streets policies. Previous to NCSC, Christine was the Healthy Places coordinator at Columbus Public Health where her focus was integrating health into built environment decisions and working with divisions such as the Planning Division, Building Services Department, and Division of Mobility Options. Projects included Health Impact Assessment (HIA) and the development of an HIA checklist with four different city departments; the creation of Columbus Art Walks; and developing a rezoning review process that resulted in 80 percent of rezoning applications including active living features in one year.

Christine began her career working in neighborhood development with urban farmers’ markets and a leadership program for New American women at the United Way of Central Ohio Neighborhood Partnership Center and the community action agency for Franklin County, Ohio. Christine has a master of city and regional planning degree from the Ohio State University and a bachelor of science in environmental biology and geography from Ohio University.
