For the Greener Good Passive House

Extreme Energy Efficiency

WHAT
What if the only heat for your home was the occupants’ body warmth? The For the Greener Good panelists discuss the growing popularity of hyper-energy efficient buildings called Passive Homes. These tightly sealed buildings are being constructed across Europe where a quarter of new residences are built to the Passive House standard. Panelists explore how the United States can learn from their example to reduce energy use. Passive House is the final lecture of the 2011 For the Greener Good series.
