D.C. Builds: Creating Space for Artists

WHAT
Panel Discussion: Washington, D.C., is one of the nation’s premier cities for arts and culture with a variety of venues and a robust professional class dedicated to the visual arts. However, few working artists are able to afford housing and studio space in the city, which deprives D.C. of valuable assets for creativity and economic development. A panel of experts discusses the role of planners, architects, and policy makers to create live/work spaces for artists. Presented in partnership with Hamiltonian artists.
